It is one of two taps that had been replaced, about twenty years ago, in the kitchen of our house in Wales. They were not thrown away but left on a shelf in the garage. Last year a tap in the kitchen in our flat in London started to drip. Changing the washer didn’t cure the problem, the tap had to be changed. But the new taps don’t fit the old pipe fittings, so to change a tap became a bigger job than first thought. Then I remembered about the old taps – golden rule, never throw anything away as it might be useful one day. 🙂
Nice one, boy’ve been Tapped.
Love old faucets such as these, nice photo too.
