Like the USA the UK property market, both housing and commercial is in a trough, so I guess nothing much will happen for a few years.There is a very sharp demarcation line (and historically always has been) between The City of London and the area to the east. This street is just to the east of the boarder so in the future it could be developed as commercial properties or housing.
